Weekend

This weekend Mackenzie and me are going up to my auntie's house at Lake of The Parries to go snowboarding. At her house we can also go ice fishing, ski-dooing and hot tubing. I like to go up to her house because there is so much to do up there. She has a pool table and a Foosball table that we like to have contest ( i usually win). We cant wait till the weekend to go snowboarding.

There is a new student in class and you are given an assignment. You are required to spend 10 minutes giving him/her advice about surviving at Virden Junior High. What would you say?


If there was a new student come into our class and I had ten minutes to spend with them telling them about Virden Junior High and what makes it fun, I would talk about gym blast. I would tell them how we have a gym blast once every year and how the whole school comes together and gets in teams and plays a whole bunch of fun games.

I would also tell them how in grade 8 we get to go to Asessippi and go snowboarding/skiing and stay at the hotel overnight in Russel, then go back to Asessippi and go all day the next day.

After I would tell them about 30 Hour Famine, and how we get to stay over night at the school and not eat anything but rice and juice. We get to play a huge game of hide-and-go-seek around the school, then watch movies in the gym and play games.

I would then tell about all the contest we have such as Magazine Campaign, Book Fair, chocolate sales and more.

I would also say how we have excellent assembles and we can win prizes and get certificates. In the winter we get to watch lip sync contest where each class can pick a song and make up moves and make it funny so that they will win and get to have a pizza party.

My Weekend

On Saturday I had hockey in Souris against Carnduff. We played really good, and i got the first goal and two assists. This was the first time we played Carnduff and we won 5 to 1. They were really ruff and got lots of hitting penalties.

On Sunday we played in Melita. We didn't play our best game, but we still got three nice goals. We ended up winning 3 to 1. This weekend was also good because we got two of our three players that got hurt back on out team.

Volleyball

Today we went to Reston for our volleyball divisonals. We had a great day and my team ended up being the divisional champs! We where very excited to bring the trophe home, and we hope that they can bring it back next year. :)

Snow!

I hope that the snow keeps coming so that we can go snowboarding at Asessippi. I also want more snow so that we can miss school, but i don't like how cold it's going to get.

My Inanimate Object

I would bring my clothes to life so they could fold themselves and put themselves away.

Me: Hey, you get in the washer and add some soap, and you better get those stains out. Then when that's done get in the dryer and you better use a bounce sheet.

Clothes: But what if we only have bounty?

Me: Then go buy some stupid.

Clothes: Yes ma'am

Me: And When you are done, go fold yourselves.

* Dryer buzzes*

Me: GO OPEN IT NOW!

Long Sleeve Shirt: Okay ma'am.
*opens dryer*

Wool Sweater: I um kinda shrunk.

Me: excuse me! What did i tell you!?

Wool Sweater: Only cold wash.

Me: Exactly! stupid sweater , away with you!

Wool Sweater: Sorry ma'am

Me: Yeah, you better be.

Animal Instinct

I think i am a chinchilla because they are really shy. They are also quite and small like me . I am also like them because my hair is really fuzzy like their fur.

My top Ten Favortie Movies

1) Killers: it is about a woman who goes on vacation and meets a guy and they get married. Three years later they found out that there neighbors could be assassins who have been set out to kill the couple.



2)The Other Guys: It is about two guys that decided to step in and try to be the cities two top cops. But not every thing they do goes wrong.



3) The Last Song: it is about a girl that is sent to live with here dad for the summer. She never really liked her dad until she started to spend more time with him and starting to get to know him better. In the end her dad gets cancer and dies.



4) Step Brothers: it is about two middle aged men that are forced to live together when there parents get married. At the beginning the don't like each other at all and pull pranks and make each others lives miserable. Then at the end they learn to like each other and they become friends.



5)The Hangover:it is about four men who go to Las Vegas. When they wake up in the mornig the cant remember anything, and they also cant find there one friend that came with them. So they have to retrace there steps so they can find there friend and make it back in time for his wedding.



6) Grown Ups: it is about four guys that come together after there high school basketball couch has passed away. They haven't seen each other for 30 years and every one has change and grown up.



7) The Proposal: it is about a mean boss that forces her young assistant to marry her so the she doesn't get departure to Canada. He takes her to vist his family and then they start to like each other.



8) Dispicible Me: it is a animated movie about a criminal mastermind who doesnt like kids but he adopts these three little girls that he think will help him steal a shrink ray so that he can steal the moon. In the end he learns to really like the girls and he starts to treat them like family.



9) What Happens in Vagas: it is about two people who discover that they have gotten married the flowing night. They don't like each other, but after one of them wins a huge jackpot using the other ones quarter. Then each of them try to get there hands on the money and they fall in love later on.

10) Slum dog Millionaire: it is about a teen that is a contestant on the Indian version " Who Want to be a Millionaire?". He is then arrested because they think that he is cheating, but he knows the answers because they are events from his past and he has lived through them.

Those are just some of my favorite movies.

My highlights and low lights of September

One of my highlights of September was playing volleyball against grade 10 and 11's and making it to the B side finals. One of my low lights of September is that we had to go back to school and summer wasn't long enough. :D
